Play the violin

Our instructors will explain the basics of violin/fiddle playing and the importance of posture and holding the instrument.

Teachers will guide students through simple exercises to stretch their hands, arms and fingers and get them playing their first notes.

Method

Students will begin with a few simple, fun songs and exercises using resources such as songbooks or online tutorials.

Graded exams via RIAM and others.

Students will be encouraged to practice regularly to improve their skills and keep their interest in the instrument high.

We run weekly lessons during term times that match schools. This is approximately thirty lessons over nine months.
