Grades and Exams

Galway Music Academy provides tuition in R.I.A.M., Trinity College and A.B.R.S.M. music grades and examinations across all instruments, including Rock and Pop. The Trinity College syllabus (available by clicking HERE) is supplemented by our own additional curriculum resources which reflect the school’s emphasis on Practical Musicianship (see below). Trinity College grades are internationally recognized and the examination process is both rigorous and independent. This system encourages teachers, students and the school to perform at their best.

The decision to undertake music grades and the exams process is one that should be made between teachers, students and parents (if applicable) and involves a further financial commitment each year for grades books and examinations.
