Elisha Leonard

Elisha has been playing music since the age of 3, becoming a multi instrumentalist, some including flute, piano & bassoon. Elisha has completed a Bachelor of Music in Maynooth University and is currently studying a Masters of Education in NUI Galway.

Through out her musical career Elisha has played for Michael D. Higgins in the National Concert Hall with the Sinfonietta Orchestra from Sligo Academy of Music, travelling to Prague & the UK. She has also competed in solo, grupai ceoil & ceili band competitions in the All Ireland Fleadh, placing many firsts during the years! She was also part of a group called Atlantic Rhythm which consisted of playing for many American tours through out Ireland & UK and getting to the Semi Finals of Irelands Got Talent in 2017. Her time in Maynooth University also saw Elisha as the President of the Music Society which has shown her the importance of leadership when teaching & speaking about music. With all of Elisha’s experience she knows first hand the benefits of learning any instrument and looks forward to encouraging and motivating her students with this knowledge.
