Agustina Taborda

Agustina is an Argentinean pianist, bandoneonist and composer based in Galway.

Her Piano studies started at an early age in Rosario, Argentina, afterwhich she studied Composition and Bandoneón in Rosario National University, receiving her degree in bandoneón.

As a performer she has over 12 years experience playing with a diverse range of ensembles and collaborating with many different musicians, from Orchestras to duets, in a variety of styles. Her main passion in music is playing Tango, composing original music, and collaborating in new creations.

Agustina aims to help her students become well rounded musicians, capable of playing by ear as well as having a solid foundation in sight reading and theory. Her main goal is to share the enjoyment for playing piano and to help her students to build a long lasting relationship with music.
