GMA’s Musical Theatre classes integrate singing, choreography and acting while also developing the social and emotional skills that grow through ensemble work.
Students build vocal technique, public-speaking confidence and stage presence. Collaborative activities teach them to support and inspire one another, strengthening empathy, teamwork and expressive confidence.
With each lesson, students grow as performers and as individuals, gaining real rehearsal and performance experience that serves them on and off the stage.

Each group develops age-appropriate musical theatre skills through singing, drama, movement and ensemble rehearsal. Classes run on Saturday mornings at Coláiste Bhaile Chláir, Claregalway.
02Ages 7–9
Lights, Camera, Action
Saturdays 11am–12 noon
Build on core musical theatre skills and learn to express a character through song.

03Ages 10–12
The Spotlights
Saturdays 12–1pm
Use established skills in more intricate arrangements and stronger stage work.

GMA Stage School teachers are working musicians who bring live performance skills directly into the classroom. Instead of relying heavily on pre-recorded backing tracks, the team plays live with students and creates an authentic rehearsal atmosphere.
That gives each class the energy, flexibility and professionalism of a real stage experience — helping students develop timing, confidence and performance instincts alongside experienced musicians.

Class sizes are capped at 20 students. Sessions begin with vocal and drama warm-ups, move into singing, drama and choreography, then finish by bringing the work together as an ensemble.
