We are proud to offer collaborative learning and our range of group classes are designed to encourage students to play with and for each other at every stage of their development.

Please note: Group lessons at Galway Music Academy are generally not advised for total beginners, unless stated. We advise some total beginners to take private lessons for a year in order to develop the basic skills required to play along with others.

Group classes are generally restricted to 8 students per class for instrumental lessons and must have a minimum of 4 students to proceed. Fees must be paid in advance per term. Class times are subject to change before the commencement of each term

Group lessons are a fun and collaborative method of learning but in some cases private lessons may be more appropriate - unless stated in the Group Title, ie. 'Beginner Guitar Class' group lessons are for students with enough basic skills to play along with others. The school can advise students and parents accordingly.
