Our Team

Music taught
with heart.

Experienced mentors, active performers and a community that has been building confidence through music since 2012.

Our story

Long-term learning relationships.

Galway Music Academy has delivered expert tuition in the local community for more than twelve years. What began with a belief in personal, practical music education now connects students and tutors across five Galway locations.

GMA’s tutors are professional mentors and active performers. That matters: students learn technique and theory, but they also learn how music feels when it is rehearsed, shared and performed.

The aim is bigger than playing the right notes. It is to help each student develop independence, expression, discipline and a confidence that travels far beyond the lesson room.

The GMA way

Professional. Personal. Playful.

Every pathway can be serious about progress without losing the curiosity and joy that make students want to keep playing.

01

Meet the student

02

Make music real

Ensembles, showcases and concerts turn weekly practice into shared musical experiences.

03
